You have to imagine the flat without the scaffolding
I receive an email from one of the well known property apps telling me that there is a flat for sale in Hanson Street. I click on the link, and see a photo of a building covered in scaffolding and green mesh. I recognise that scaffolding immediately.
The add reads: ‘Citywest Residential are pleased to offer to the market this lovely one bedroom second floor flat situated on a quiet residential street in prime central London…The property is in need of some modernisation and in our opinion is ideal for first time buyers or investors alike.’
Citywest Residential is part of City West Homes. When Citywest Residential agreed to market the flat, I wonder if they knew that their colleagues at City West Homes were about to encase ‘this lovely one bedroom flat’ in scaffolding?
How will Citywest Residential explain the scaffolding to potential buyers?
“You have to imagine it without the scaffolding – it’s a lovely flat really.”
