The 9th week of living behind bars

This morning three men in hard hats and Axis vests went up the scaffolding. After a very short while they all came down again, and went away.

Axis are the contractors engaged by City West Homes (CWH) to refurbish numerous blocks in Hanson Street. Axis call partnering ‘relationship contracting’.

From what I can observe, there is not a lot happening in the relationship between CWH and Axis.

No work is taking place in Hanson Street today.

This is the 9th week of living behind bars covered in green netting.

Last week CWH said they expected to have more information about a possible date for completing the works. Let’s hope so.

Squares of Paint

Could these be the chosen paint colours for the communal areas? These painted squares popped up on the stair wall today. They don’t bear much relation to the samples we received from City West Homes (see previous blog).

One very roughly painted coat only, so it’s hard to tell what the colours will look like when finished. I don’t have a good feeling about this.

Two squares of paint in different colours

Colour samples – I think.
